1What is a payday loan?
A payday loan is an unsecured short term loan for a period of 1 to 31 days. It is typically based on the amount of your paycheque. It is designed to help meet unexpected expenses or financial emergencies between pay periods.
2How much interest do you charge for a payday loan?
Our cost to borrow is $15 for every $100 advanced. That works out to $45 on a $300 advance (average Canadian advance based on a one pay period advance). For more information please see payday loans.
3How do I apply for a payday loan?
You can choose to visit one of our convenient locations for cash on the spot, or apply online and receive your funds directly to your bank account; whatever works best for you. At this time, we are unable to complete applications over the phone.
4What do I need in order to apply for a payday loan?
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Bank account
  • Access to online banking
  • Employment income
5Do you accept EI benefits as income?
Yes. We currently accept EI as a form of income. You can apply online or at one of our over 30 locations.
6I'm retired. Do I still qualify for a payday loan?
Absolutely! You can visit one of our convenient locations And of course, you can always talk to a customer service representative 24/7 if you have any questions by contacting us.
7How do I qualify for your first-time customer promotion?
This promotion is only available in-store at this time. Visit your nearest PAY2DAY location to apply.
8What provinces do you loan to?
We are currently servicing Ontario, British Columbia and Nova Scotia. Check back soon as we are always adding locations and expanding to other provinces.
9Do you do credit checks?
No! There are absolutely no credit checks done when applying for a loan with PAY2DAY.

1How do I apply for an Online Payday Loan?
Complete our easy online application. In order to qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older, have access to online banking, and receive an income derived from employment.
2What kind of identification do I need?
We require valid government issued photo ID. That can be in the form of a Drivers Licence, Passport, Permanent Residence Card, Citizenship Card, Ontario ID Card, or BC Services Card. (Note: We cannot accept Ontario Health Cards as a form of ID)
3How long does the process take?
The entire application and approval process can take anywhere from 1 – 3 hours, however is subject to change based on volumes. Once your loan request is approved, you will receive your funds within 1 hour.
4How can I find out the status of my application?
You will receive a response within 1-3 hours. If you have been waiting for longer than 3 hours, you can contact our customer service line at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329), or email ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca.
5How can I repay my online loan?
  • Request automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Simply email ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca. or call 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329) to make this request.
  • Send your repayment via Email Money Transfer. Log into your account on the PAY2DAY APP or Client Login page and contact your home branch for details. You can also call 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329) for more information.
  • Visit your nearest PAY2DAY location and repay in cash or debit.
6Why was my application declined?
If you received a notification that your application was declined, it could be one of many reasons. Reach out to one of our closest locations to determine if there is any additional information you can provide, or reapply within 60-90 days by emailing ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca.
7What determines my approved amount?
Once you are approved, the maximum allowable advance is up to 50% of your net pay. There will automatically be an amount available to you based on the information provided to us.
8How can I check the balance on my account?
You can LogIn through our website and select “Account Balance”. You can also log in and check your balance on the PAY2DAY APP.
9Have you received my payment?
Email Money Transfer payment processing can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on volumes. If you have been waiting longer than 3 hours, call us at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329).
10I am an existing customer and am looking to increase my loan amount, how can I do that?
Send an email to ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca with your most recent pay stub. One of our Online Support Specialists will update your information and notify you if an increase is available.
11I am having trouble with the Online Banking Verification process, is there any other way to verify my account?
If you are having issues, contact us at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329). If the problems are related to your personal account and cannot be resolved, you will need to complete the rest of the application at one of our convenient locations.
12I am having problems with the APP, what can I do?
Submit an email to ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca with an explanation of the problem you are having, and we will work quickly to resolve any issues. Screenshots are helpful if you have them. You can also contact us directly at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329).
13The APP says my information is not correct or does not match, what can I do?
If there is information on the APP that is not correct, please submit an email to ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca and include your current contact information. We will reach out to you as soon as possible to correct any issues.
14The Due Date on my loan is incorrect, how do I change it?
Contact us at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329) or ClientCare@Pay2Day.ca as soon as possible, and we will make the necessary adjustments.
15I am trying to sign in and it’s saying my account has not been created, what do I do?
This just means your application is still pending. Check your email to see if there is any additional information requested. If you have submitted an application and it has been longer than 3 hours, contact us at 1-833-PAY2DAY (729-2329).
16Do you accept EI benefits as income?
